mala {sandalwood}

27.00

This 108-bead mala was handmade in Nepal from sandalwood beads and it smells so good. Sandalwood beads can be infused with essential oils, like lavender or naroli, to add even more goodness to your meditation practice. It is 24 inches around. This mala is more for meditation than wearing. It might slip over some small heads, and depending on your wrist and hand size, you may be able to wear it around your wrist.

How to Use a Mala
A mala, similar to a rosary, is traditionally used in meditation to help you repeat a mantra or prayer while you meditate. You slide the beads between your fingers so you can focus on the words of your mantra instead of counting the number of times you're saying the mantra. This mala includes a "guru" bead that is larger than the other beads so you know where to begin and end your meditation.
